Hello everyone!
We will be updating the PowerApps clients this evening 1/27/16
Due to the nature of this update, and some of the items it is addressing, some users may run into a few usability issues. We would like to outline a few troubleshooting steps for you to attempt before contacting support or making a new thread about this.
1. Please make sure to update your PowerApps Client from the respective store.
2. If you are not able to open the apps you have already published, you will need to Edit the app, Re-save it to PowerApps and then open the app.
3. If you are unable to open already downloaded apps (apps downloaded in previous versions), after the client is updated, you will need to delete the app and re-download it.
4. Support for Project Siena data sources - (1) SharePoint and (2) Office 365 Preview, will both be deprecated. These data sources will automatically be deleted when a document or an app is opened from the latest version of PowerApps. Don't worry! All users will be able to create new SharePoint and Office 365 connections and re-add the respective data sources to fix the document or the app.
Thanks so much for being an early user of PowerApps , and if you need any help beyond these steps, please feel free to search for posts, or make your own.
- The PowerApps Team.
