Hello,

I am using the dataverse connector to add a new row but get a forbidden error with nothing else.
Does anyone know what might be the problem?

Thanks!

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @xyvic,

Is this in a flow?  Can you show some screen shots with the error?

    Thanks,

    Drew

    Hi @xyvic,

A 403 Forbidden error typically means a permissions issue. Do you have at minimum create and assign privileges on the Table you are trying to add a row to?

Are there any lookup columns that you are trying to set? If so, you'll also need Append To privileges on the table in addition to those permissions mentioned above, and Append privileges on the related Table of the Lookup you are trying to set.

As mentioned, a screenshot of your flow step would aid in troubleshooting.

Thanks for your replies guys, I have sys admin role so I don't think that is the issue. Here is a screenshot of the error.

    Hi @xyvic ,

Just to check that connection using igtagent11 account and it is yours i.e. System admin access. Correct?

    Hi @xyvic,

Is the Dataverse connection for that action using your credential? The action is always going to run using that connection's user, so whomever it's running under must have those permissions I mentioned.

Oh thanks guys, yeah it was using a test account. I thought it would have defaulted to my main one if I start a new flow thanks.

    Thanks again!
