Is there anybody in this community, that has been successful in creating a custom table, with a file column, with which you upload a file to be stored in SharePoint?
According to the Microsoft representative that reviewed my ticked, it cannot be done. So please explain to me why the SharePoint integration option is available when a custom table is created. This doesn't make sense to me.
I really need somebody with more insight in this matter.

Problem solved.
Do not use a column with data type = File.
Use the related document tab in the form to upload to SharePoint.
See the attached file please.
Edit: doc removed.
Thanks anyway. I appreciate your willingness, nonetheless.
Sorry I am the wrong person here - I am Canvas apps only with SharePoint Lists and Libraries.
Yes it is a model driven app. The menus that I screen shot is from Power Platform Admin Centre and from Power Apps.
I have attached a file with screen shots and explanations.
Edit: doc removed.
Could I possibly do a teams meeting with you? Then I can share my screen and show it all to you.
Hi @hildasteyn ,
I need to understand your terms used in relation to the SharePoint structures.
a site in SharePoint to be used for document storage - are you saying you created a SharePoint Library ?
Can you please send a screenshot of where you selected "Setting up SharePoint document management" and how you got there.
There is a far less complex way of doing this I suspect.
So according to the MS support person, it is because I don't use a standard table, which I think is hogwash. If the SharePoint integration was only available for standard tables, why is the option there when a new custom table is created? To prove my point, I used the standard Accounts table and added a file column to it. Same thing happened. I think there is a setting somewhere that I am missing, but I just cannot find it.
