Need Help with Data Table (Existing Column and Custom input column)

Hi Team,

This is my first powerapps. Apologies if the question is basic

To explain my requirement, there will be a data table with multiple columns. First 2 columns will have default values in place ( about 20 records). Next 2 columns user will input.

Manually entering input label for each row is very crude approach.

I have list in place for fetching values for Column 1 and Column 2.

So for first combo, A and e , user will input their values in column 3 and 4. And entire row (all 4 values ) will be saved in sharepoint.

Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks in advance. 🙂

    For the most part, you will want to utilize a Gallery.  The Gallery would have the two values from your datasource (retrieved through the Items property of the Gallery).  Then you would have two inputText controls in the gallery for user entry.

    I would then recommend a "save" or "submit" button in which you would send all the values back to the datasource.

    I hope this is helpful for you.

    Hi, @RandyHayes
    Thanks for the reply.

    I tried gallery but I am able to get only one column at a time. How to get multiple columns through Items?

    @niravdesai1992

    What is your Items property for your Gallery at this point?

    @RandyHayes

    It is ListName.Columnname
    I am not sure which function to use to fetch multiple columns.

    In fields value, I can choose only one column.

    @niravdesai1992

    Change your Items formula to ListName.  You are currently using ListName.Columnname - therefore only ONE column will be available.  Change it to ListName and all will be available.

    Hi @niravdesai1992 ,

    Yes, Gallery is the most suitable for this case.

    Please follow this video to learn how to create a Repeating Table by Gallery.
