Hi
Is it possible to lockdown the Default Environment so that "Citizen Developers" cannot leak confidential data :-
eg. Prevent "Citizen Developers" emailing confidential data to their own personal email address using the Outlook Connector ?
eg. Prevent "Citizen Developers" reading from a SharePoint Site which has confidential data and write to another SharePoint Site which has unclassified data.
The reason I am asking is that the company I am working with are about to get E5 licences for everyone. I am not sure if this gives them access to premium connectors. It will give then access to the Default environment. Unfortunately, you cannot "Block" Microsoft connectors (ordinary or premium) so the potential for data leakage via PowerApps is high.
Any advice on how to lock down the Default environment gratefully received.
Regards
Nigel
Implementing Microsoft 365 DLP policies can be used to prevent data leakage by blocking emails and access to sensitive information. But in general you cannot lock down the default environment using settings inside Power Apps.
