Hi everyone,
since the last Office update to version 2405 (Build 17628.20110), some Power Queries we are using are experiencing the error “Error during download” (not 100% if this is the correct translation as my Excel is in German - I attached the screenshot though).
No errors are displayed in the preview (and the preview is updated correctly). So far, the queries worked perfectly. For a colleague who still has the previous version 2404, the queries also work without any problems.
This error does not occur every time when you try to import the data (but it occurs quite frequently).
Is there anything known that may have caused an error? Does anyone have any ideas on how to get power query working properly again? Unfortunately, Excel does not give any real information about where the error is during the download. As I said, the preview in the Power Query Editor is also updated correctly.

Some imports work, some always cause difficulties. Absurd has helped to perform the import on another user on the same computer. Then it worked again on my user and then not again. The imports had been running for years without any problems, but I can't say whether this is due to the last Windows or Excel update. The same imports are always affected, creating a new import leads to the same result. Everything that is imported is stored locally in the same folder, they are simple csv files.

I think Microsoft should treat this as HIGH PRIORITY, this will impact a lot of Business
I'm also having the same issue. I have multiple queries in one workbook and some will load but the others won't load and will show a "download failed" message despite not having any errors...
Yes, most likely. The problem occured with the update to version 2405. I have colleagues who are still running 2404 and they don't have this problem (they use the same excel worksheet with the same queries but for them they are working fine).
