I know that is same topics for Leave Request, I trying to explore the solutions, but I think better to ask here.
I'm working on Leave Request in PowerApps, the requirements are each staff has different leave remaining when they submitted their request days taken shall deducted from the remaining and send email to notify the balance.
My solutions are created 2 SharePoint list, List A is remaining leave days for each staff.
List B is Leave request form including start, end date, total days taken, and status (Pending, Approved, and Reject)
I've stuck on how to create the approval flow that can calculate leave days between those lists.
My flow would be;
- When submitted request in PA
- Get total days in List B
- Send to approval (only one mgr.)
- If approved, deduct from remaining in List A.
- Send notify email and/or team message.
Others requirement is when each staff using the apps, they shall see their request history and remaining days.
