Forms and displaying default values

Hi.
struggling with a solution. I have an app. It have 2 forms. Both in new mode. When entering mandatory info in title field in form 1 i submitform, create new form and navigate to screen 2 with a new form. In form2 i would like to have the title info from form1

displayed as default and/or linke form2 to the same info in sp list/form2 so that i can submitform2 without getting errormessage «title is required». Is there i fix for this?

Form 2 Title column data card default value:

Form1.LastSubmit.Title

Thanks but form 2 datacardvalue on title is still empty when i use form1.lastsubmit.title

It should work. But also try this:

OnSuccess of Form 1:

Set(varTitle,Form1.LastSubmit.Title);

Then form 2 Title default property:

varTitle

Tested on my side. Works as it should. Please try to do proper debugging on your side.

Thank you for your input. I just can’t figure out why that solution don’t work on my side. The data is uploaded to the SP list in form 1 but either i use Vartitle og lastsubmit on the datacard in form 2 the datacard remains empty.

Hi again. So all the formulas is set as you described and i get bo error codes. Should work but the fiels in form 2 is still empty. Also tried this in the default datacardvalue of one datacard, but still it is empty. If(form2.mode=new;form1. Lastsubmit.title;parent.default)

Figured out the issue. Your solution was spot on. The issue was that i had submitform and then newform. The newform basically was the issue

Yes. Thank you. The next issue is how to update the same row in the SP list when submitting form2. It is generating two rows now. Example, in form1 i create and submit some contract info. In form2 i create some customer info. All the info should be saved on same ID in my SP list.
