Unable to add Sharepoint site and list environment variables

I have created a Solution and added a power app and created 2 enironment variables (1 for site and 1 for list). When I have done this previously I have had the option when adding a sharepoint datasource to use "Advanced" to select the environment variables rather than an actual Site but the option isn't there for this App.

Does anybody know how I can add a Sharepoint datasource using environment variables without the "Advanced" option or know why it is not there.

The UI on this app is slighly different as I don't have the Data icon on the left but have an "Add data" button in the toolbar (not sure if this makes a difference).

Current App

Thanks

    How did you add the variable ?
    Is it like below ?
    Solution-> + New-> More >Environment variable, then
    Data Type= Data source,
    Connector: SharePoint.
    Connection:  your current connection.
    Parameter Type: Site/List.
    When you choose site, you will have Advanced option.

    If you cannot have the data option in the app, try to clear the cache and history of your browser.

    Make sure the app is built in the solution where the environment variables are. Also, be sure to set a default value. They may not be showing up because the variables are null.
