I am trying to filter columns based off a multiselect dropdown.
Field 1 - Code - which is a multi select choice column. This is in one sharepoint list.
On a separate sharepoint list: (all fields are single line of text)
Field 2 - Category - Values match the choices from field 1 to compare
Field 3 - Reason
Field 4 - Subcategory of field 3
What ive been trying to do is that when someone chooses from Code column (field 1), it filters the Reason (field 3) and then based on choice in the Reason field, Subcategory (field 4) is filtered. I am able to get Reason and Subcategory filtered if only 1 choice is selected. But i cant get the filter working correctly when more than 1 choice is selected.
Ive read numerous posts and blogs and cant seem to get it to work.
At some point i would like to have Reason and Subcategory to auto filter based off a global variable.
