CDS storage analysis for admins

ReportReport

Hi,

Just recently the new capacity report was introduced which breaks down current storage consumption into database, file and log. While this report is great and very helpful, we've lost access to the storage insigt analysis page for CDS, as this new only points to the capacity report. Sadly, these two are not equivalent as the old storage analysis provided a detailed breakdown of the most used tables by row and storage. Having access to both seems optimal, though an improvement for storage analysis with additional breakdown of data consumption for the individuel types of data (based on the capacity report) would be appreciated.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @MrKay ,

Yeah. As of April 2019, PowerApps releases the new capacity analytics reporting to replace previous Database Storage. Please check the following article for more details:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/capacity-storage

The Database storage functionality has been moved to the New capacity analytics reporting.

If you would like this feature to be improved (e.g.  provided a detailed breakdown of the most used tables by row and storage), please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

    Best regards,

Thanks for the reply. This was probably the wrong forum to begin with, as I actually intending for this to be an idea rather than anything else. I'll go ahead and repost there as suggested.
