Hi,

Rank amateur here. Have built a few apps but trying to use the text recognition for the first time, when I add the text recogniser I get the error as per the subject.

I currently have an E5 license.

Reading into it a bit, it seems that I have to have dataverse set up, be licenced, edit the roles etc. Is this the case? It all seems immensely complicated just to be able to use a text recognizer. Can anyone possibly confirm and if this is the case give me a very simple, brief guide as to what I need to get going. Obviously I am happy to pay a little extra to license the functionality but to setup and license a full dataverse environment seems costly and time consuming 😕

Thanks for any replies and apologies if this is a total newb question...

Are you able to access AI Models page in Power Apps and try the Text Recognition model with your own input?
You may need to go through AI Hub or More / Discover all to add AI Models to the left hand menu.

    Hi,

Thanks for that, you absolutely nailed it! Going to there prompted me to enter the trial and it started working.

Already looked into building a model, its all great functionality though it looks like the price tag is rather large for the license 😕
