Is it possible to publish a canvas app on Microsoft app source? Or is it only allowed to publish Solutions?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi @Kran,

Yes, you could publish a canvas app on Microsoft AppSource.

Actually, when you publish your canvas app within your PowerApps, the corresponding canvas app would be shown up within your Microsoft AppSource automatically.

Please check and see if the following article would help in your scenario:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/user/app-source

Note: The Microsoft AppSource is now embedded within Dynamics 365 home page.

You could go to your Dynamics 365 home page (https://home.dynamics.com), then click "Get more apps" option from the home page or task pane, the AppSource panel would show up as below:1.JPG

then you could find your canvas app within above AppSource panel

    Ok cool.

However, in this example, it seems that the app is is just shared with one particular customer?

What I want to achieve is to upload my canvas app on app source and anyone can buy it.

    Hi @Kran,

Just an update -- If you publish your canvas app to PowerApps, this app would be shown up within "My organization" tab of your AppSource. In other words, only the users in your Org could see your published canvas app within the "My organization" tab of your AppSources.

If you want everyone who sign in Microsoft AppSource could see your published canvas app, you need to publish your canvas app to AppSource.com. Firstly, you need to complte the application form  on PowerApps.com.

Once you apply you will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your app to be published on AppSource.com. The onboarding documentation that captures the full end-to-end process can also be downloaded here.

Please check the following blog for more details:

    Hi @v-xida-msft

i have a question. My company (microsoft partner) would like to push some apps on the marketplace. But before to do it, wants to test the process to make sure to don't encounter strange issue and analyze the its experience to publish app on AppSource. Is there a partner-side test drive?

Please let me know as soon as.

    Thanks

    Andi

Hi @Kran :I too need to publish my canvas app to AppSource. But while following publishing steps, it is failing to create managed solution, as I'm using excel stored on OneDrive as data source for my app. Need to understand what kind of database do we need to create.

    Thanks,

    Sayali
