Hi Guys,

I am having problems sorting my 'Practice Name' Column in Ascending order.

I have tried the following, but it is still random:

Distinct( Sort( 'GP Site Details', Trim('Practice Name'), SortOrder.Ascending ),'Practice Name')

SortByColumns('GP Site Details',"Practice_x0020_Name", SortOrder.Ascending)

Nothing works.

Also, my list in sharepoint is Ascending.

    Hi @Miik ,

    Try below formula:

    Distinct(Sort(AddColumns('GP Site Details',"PN",Trim(ThisRecord.'Practice Name')), PN,SortOrder.Ascending),'Practice Name')

    Best regards,

    Hi @Miik ,

No, you should use the formula in Items of a Gallery.

Thanks, my drpBox is not in a gallery. I am using a form and the drpBox is outside the boundary. Its on its own, so maybe this function will not work the same.

I found out that if I change the Item of the sharepointform1, the Ascending work, but I loose my source and no data is displayed in PowerApps

    Hi @Miik ,

What's this Dropdown for? Anyway, its Items need the formula I provided.

I use the drpBox to select records from the sharepoint list.

If I can get it into Ascending, users can select surgeries better.

    Hi @Miik ,

It's a SharePoint customize form, so the record should be selected from in the list and then display in the Form for viewing or editing. If you want to select another record from the dropdown which has the same data source as the form and do the same thing, try below steps:

    1. Items of Dropdown:

    Sort(AddColumns('GP Site Details',"PN",Trim(ThisRecord.'Practice Name')), PN,SortOrder.Ascending)

    2. Set primary field of the Dropdown as Practice Name.

    3. Item of SharePointForm1

    coalesce(Dropdown.Selected, SharePointIntegration.Selected)

    Best regards,
