External datasources for model driven apps

Hi there!

 

I am wanting to use a sharepoint list for a datasource with my model driven app. I am not sure which of these options is best. 

With the create with external data option, I am unable to update the table if I want to add columns on the sharepoint list - unless anyone knows how, would be great!

With the create a virtual database option, it does not sync my data from my sharepoint list correctly, leaving out multiple columns for reasons I cannot figure out. 

 

Any help would be appreciated!

    Hey. I don't see a question here but guessing that you want to use external data for a table in Dataverse so it can be used in a model-driven app.
     
    If that is the case, you can either take a "snapshot" of the data and create a Dataverse table containing data from a SharePoint list, Excel, or CSV file.
     
    Or you can keep the data where it is located, e.g. a SharePoint list, make it appear as a Dataverse table where you can read / write the data, by creating a virtual table. More info here:
