Good Day,

I have been experiencing a strange issue with Powerapps recently. I am not being able to add flows to my apps.

I am just trying to add PowerApps connector flow which on button click send an email to me.

I have searched regarding and have tried below scenarios with no luck;

  1. Deleting and creating the flow again.
  2. Turning off and on the flow.
  3. Creating a new flow directly from PowerApps.
  4. Removing the app from solutions and trying to add flow.
  5. Tried with a different service account.

I have only these two steps in my flow;

Help is needed!!!!

Br,

Imad Munir

Hi @imunirgolar , Can you confirm the error message when you click on more? Also does your flow returns any output to PowerApps?

    I hope this helps.

    Hi,

The flow is not returning any output to the PowerApps.

It just gives the Session ID:

Hi @imunirgolar , Does your app is Solution? If yes, then can you confirm that both the app and flow are in same solution? Please check this: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Unable-to-add-flow-in-Power-App/td-p/1940394

    Hi @ANB ,

Thank you for your swift response.

Flow was not in the solution but I added the flow to the solution. Still it gives the same error.

I have two other apps and adding flow works fine there. The only difference was that I created the other apps first with flows and then added them into a solution.

    Br,

    Imad

Hi @imunirgolar , This is strange. Can you try creating flow from within the App itself?

    Hi,

I did this just now. Still Same.

It was fine like two weeks ago. I checked my other apps now. I am not able to add new flows but existing flows from apps are working fine.

@imunirgolar , Could you confirm what Security role do you have on the environment?

    Thanks,

    ANB

    Hi @ANB ,

I have System Administrator and Basic User.

Ok @imunirgolar , Please check whether Basic User security role has "Read" on the Process table at organization level?

    1. When you are in Power Platform Admin Center, click on Environment that you have the issue.
    2. Then click on Security Roles as shown below:
    3. ANB_0-1698136234781.png

    4. Then click on basic user security role and under customization section check whether Read access is at user level? If yes then it should be at Organization level:

    6. I know that you cannot edit the Basic User security role, however in your case, if you already have System Admin security, then you can revoke the Basic User security role and check the behaviors.

NOTE: Once the Basic User security role is revoked and you have system admin security role, then log of. clear the cache and try again.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi,

I am not able to change the Basic User Access level as you mentioned. I removed the Basic User from my user and kept the System Administrator which has Organizational Level access.

    Still getting the error.
