Pop up message should disappear after one click

Hello,

I have created an app that contains certain date fields that need to be filled by users in a form. These date fields should display a warning message when you click on them, and if you agree with the alert then you may continue to pick up the date. However, I'm not able to find a way for the warning message to come up only once and to not pop up again after you have clicked in Back.

For example:

The form has Name, Estimated Delivery Date and Purchase Date. When user clicks on the Estimated Delivery Date field to select the date, they received a pop up message saying that the date will only be approximate and time for delivery may actually vary depending of the carrier. If they click Back, they should now be able to pick up the date and the warning should not be displayed again.

For the Pop Up message I created the variable OnVisible = PopUp

For the date picker I put on the property OnSelect = Set(PopUp,true)

For the back icon in the pop up message, I put on the property OnSelect = Set(PopUp,false)

Thank you for your help!

    Hi @BellatrixUAM

    Maybe this will help.  There needs to be a way to reset the counter back to 0, the Set(counter,0) would need to be in the OnVisible of the screen.  I think the key is to set a counter and then have it trigger only when it = 1.  Notify() allows you the option of keeping the warning on the screen for a limited time, hence the 2000 milliseconds.  Otherwise the user will have to click it off. The warning is only shown the first time the datepicker is selected, if a different date is chosen, the counter increases and the message is not shown.

    Hello @Drrickryp

    Thank you so much for your response. It actually works; however, I need to populate a warning message for several date pickers, not just 1. How can I do this? I did exactly what you told me in the screen's OnVisible property, then I put the code in the OnSelect and OnChange properties of date picker 1; but when I put the same for date picker 2 (obviously with a different warning message) it does not display when I clicked on it because already "read" the click on the date picker 1.

    In total, I have 7 date pickers where different warning messages should be displayed only once when you click on each of them.

    I appreciate all of your help!

    @BellatrixUAM

    Since all of the datepickers refer to different things, you would need to use a different variable name for each date picker (say counter1, counter 2,  etc) and change the message inside the Notify("your message here", Warning) so that it was relevant to that datepicker.  In the OnVisible, you would need to set each variable back to zero with a series of Set() functions, like

    Set(counter1,0); Set(counter2, 0), Set(counter3,0)...
