Hello,
I am currently trying to display a comments field from my Sharepoint list in my PowerApp.
I followed this guide: https://www.c-sharpcorner.com/article/display-appended-comments-version-history-from-sharepoint-list-on-powerapps/
But unfortunately I get an error when trying to invoke the flow from my PowerApp
I created a flow exactly like the tutorials shows and I can't figure out what is causing this error.
If anyone could help I would be really grateful.
Thanks
Hi @BananaRegional ,
It seems from the error message the variable is used with different context in the application.
What you can try is changing the name of the context to confirm there is no issue in the mentioned code.

I have seen a lot questions around this particular tutorial, and I can see from the comments on the post the author has never answered any of the questions. So if you are trying to get this to work I would recommend checking out this tutorial: https://www.agarwalritika.com/post/get-version-history-from-mlt-field-on-sharepoint-in-canvas-apps. That is finally how I got something to work.
Obviously, it was a mistake on my part to set the column to Append. So I created a new multi-line column and each time the Flow runs, I take the variable with the information from the old column and Patch it to the new column using an UpdateIf. I have replaced the field in my galleries and forms with the new column, so that going forward info is being saved into a column without Append set up. So eventually, all previous info will be largely copied over and I will do the last few and then delete that column.
