How to integrate SharePoint list in model driven app in PowerApps?

I have created many Canvas apps and integrate the SharePoint list as the data source in PowerApps. Now, I will need to create Modern Driven apps in PowerApps and get data from the SharePoint list.

Do model-driven apps only run on Common Data Service (CDS) entities? Or can they also run on data from other sources (like SharePoint lists or SQL Server tables)?

Can anyone help me with the same? Thanks in advance.

Hi @BJoshi ,

model driven uses dataverse as its data source.

So it can't use sp list or sql server as datasource.

You can convert your data from SharePoint to Excel/power query and then to Dataverse tables.

Another way is to embed a canvas app connected to your SharePoint data inside the Model driven App.
