We've detected an issue with your network configuration while accessing Power Platform API Urls

Since this morning i can't create any apps or automates ! I receive this message on the Power Platform Admin Center

We've detected an issue with your network configuration while accessing Power Platform API Urls. You may experience errors in PPAC until this is resolved. Please add https://api.powerplatform.com and https://*.api.powerplatform.com urls to your Conditional Access policies and to your firewall rules.

The problem is i'm not using conditional Access, i just at home and i'm using a firewall (Windows Defender)

I see on the web solutions that consist to allow url's to the whitelist but i don't know how to do it.

Any help will be really appreciated

    Hi @TheJean ,

    1. Open Windows Defender Firewall:

      • Type "Windows Defender Firewall" in the search box on the taskbar and select it from the list of results.
    2. Access Advanced Settings:

      • Click on “Advanced settings” on the left-hand side.
    3. Inbound Rules:

      • In the Advanced settings, select “Inbound Rules” on the left pane.
      • Click “New Rule” on the right pane.
    4. Creating a New Rule:

      • Select “Custom” and then click “Next”.
      • On the Program screen, select “All programs” and click “Next”.
    5. Protocol and Ports:

      • Leave the Protocol and Ports options at their default settings and click “Next”.
    6. Scope:

      • Under the scope section, you can specify which IP addresses this rule applies to. Since you want to allow certain URLs, skip this for now and click “Next”.
    7. Action:

      • Select “Allow the connection” and click “Next”.
    8. Profile:

      • Choose when this rule applies (Domain, Private, Public). For your case, selecting all might be appropriate. Click “Next”.
    9. Name:

      • Give your rule a name, such as “Power Platform API Access”, and an optional description.
      • Click “Finish”.
    10. Outbound Rules:

    • Repeat the above steps for “Outbound Rules” to ensure that requests to the Power Platform API URLs are not blocked by the firewall when they leave your computer.

After setting up both Inbound and Outbound rules, try accessing the Power Platform Admin Center again. If the issue persists, make sure your internet connection is stable and that your network settings (like proxy, VPN, etc.) are not interfering with access to the Power Platform services. If you're part of an organization, contact your IT department as they might have network policies affecting your access.

If this solution resolves your issue, please consider marking it as accepted.

    Warm regards,
    Muhammad Ali

    Hi @M_Ali_SZ365

    Thanks for your response

Unfortunatelly this is not working but as you mentionned on your previous email, this was caused by the Avast VPN that was deactivated.

Since i activated it i can now work on the Power Platform 🙂

    Thanks for your help.
