Power BI Service and Power Apps Integration, SharePoint List Write Back - Licensing Question

Hello All,

Scenario:

I have a user building a Power BI Report that will go into Service. This report will have a Power Apps component where users (who are only in the report's workspace) will be asked to submit a simple Yes/No response via Power App visual. Their response will write-back to a SharePoint list. This report is for a POC and will not scale, and also will not need to be shared outside of a POC preview AD group/Power BI workspace.

Question:

I understand that the developer will need a license for Power Apps to create the App. But for users that interact with the report/visual to submit their response, will the E3 M365 sub-license be enough to write-back to the sharepoint list?

Also, would love to learn of any considerations with this approach.

Exactly! â€Œâ€Œ🙂 To develop a power app is enough, and to run a power app standard, like your case, also.

    Hi @AlbertoCastro,

Thank you for the quick response! Our users have the 'Power Apps for Office 365' License. So, they wouldn't even need the Power Apps developer license?

    Hi @Pawelm25,

To create and consume that power app, you will only need the office 365 license that I understand your users already have.
