Built a power app for Machine Inspection

Hi

First of all, I am not a professional of programmation. I like doing programmation.

I have a project to developpe an APP for my company.

Here is what my company do:

We design, built and install machines for Recycling sorting center.

Conveyors, optical sorter, Robot, mechanical separator, Compactor, Balers etc.

In the process of putting a system in operation (made of 1 up to 200 machines) we have what we call Commissioning and Start-up.

Each machine must be inspected and adjusted to be ready for Dry Run and Wet run of the system. This activities include inspection sheet and report.

I would like to make an app that will help to make those inspection.

- Standardized inspection sheet by type of equipment (model number)

-  Production of printable reports (1 by equipment)

What we have is (Sharepoint):

- a list of projects: Project number, client name, project description etc

- a list of equipment: Equipment number (specific to the project), Model number, Motor HP, Voltage, etc.

Also I foresee to have, for each model number, a list of thing to verify and set.

My question is:

Is someone can give me indication on the best architecture I should use? How you see it?

What kind of relationship I should have between data base (list) ?

Any advise/idea will be very appreciated.

Thank

François

    Hello.

I don't think my idea is 100 % accurate from database designing perspective. But I think the draft could be a starting point of review though.

(When using RDBMS like Oracle, MS SQL, Normalization is an important process. There are situations where denormalization might be a more reasonable approach when designing SharePoint Online (SPO) lists, especially when these lists will be used in Power Apps.)

Due to time constraints, the design is in draft form. there could be many things to be corrected or added because I might have misunderstood your idea or missed important factors.

    I hope it will help.

    It is done

It is helpful for sure. I am not familiar with those forum and I didn't put attention on this "help" button. But I did now. Thanks again.
