Hi,

I'm trying to view an apps data sources however the data source icon is missing from the nav bar

This seems to be a recurring issue but the solutions I found are no longer relevant, as the setting suggested has been removed from my version of PowerApps (3.23052.29).

How can I check what an app is connected to?

    @FosterM

    I take it you're missing the 'add data' button on the top nav bar.

    Does the data icon on the left hand rail appear for you?

    Hi @timl,

    I have the add data button but that just shows sources that are available to add, I can't tell what has been connected for example if I wanted to remove and replace a connection.

    Yes mine is missing, I just see this:

    Other apps have it, but I'm wondering if it's because this app is older?

    @FosterM

    Yes, I believe this is a bug that often occurs with older apps.

    If you use the 'add data' button that you see to add a new random data source, what can sometimes happen is that a data panel will appear on the right hand part of the screen that shows the existing data sources.

    Thanks @timl

    That has helped, I had to create a new data connection to view the existing connections.

    So how do we get the data button back without having to add random junk to our app all the time?
