Is it possible to have a SharePoint list form in PowerApps and then a PowerApps form that shows the list data?

I have a manager that wants to have a report showing what has been entered into the SharePoint list.  Currently there is a PowerApps SharePoint Customized form.

Is it possible to have the SharePoint Form in PowerApps and then another PowerApps form connected to the same SPS List that shows the list data?

with out the 2 interfering with each other...

Basically I want to use the list as a Data source

When you say "another PowerApps form" - are you referring to another canvas app outside of SharePoint customization?

If so, then yes, you can have as many apps you want to connect to the same datasources.

If there are any updates or changes from either app(s), you would just want to make sure one is not "stepping" on something another would be doing (for example, if one app was performing a calculation and putting the result in a field, but another not)

If you are referring to another form within the customization, then yes, you can do that too.

I hope this is helpful for you.

What I want to do for the Manager, As they want to create a Dashboard of the data in the SharePoint list.  I currently have a SharePoint Form that was customized using PowerApps.  What they want to do is setup a PowerApps Form, that just shows the Data that is in the list.

Currently I know we can do this with PowerBi. long story, so they are checking in on PowerApps to see if a Dashboard could be created using the SharePoint list, and not affect the current SharePoint PowerApps Form that is connected to the same list.

they just to use a PowerApps form to use the SharePoint list as data and not affect the current form that is attached to the list.

It is the terminology that is throwing me!  A Form is a specific control in PowerApps - it displays/edits/creates one record.  So I am not sure if you are interchanging the term Form for App!?

If you are planning to show a list of information, then a Gallery is the control for that.

So, with that terminology - yes, again, you can create as many apps as you want to connect to the same datasource.  Normally you would have a specific app for the list (in your case you have the customized app - what you see as customized forms)  But, since you are talking about having a dashboard-like app, then this is no problem at all.

If you build this in a standalone Canvas PowerApp - then again, no problem.  If you were to try to incorporate it into SharePoint directly (as an integration), then you can only have ONE app in SharePoint.

So - in summary - Only one SharePoint integrated app is allowed, but unlimited standalone canvas apps are allowed.

Hopefully I am addressing what you are asking.

yes, exactly, to me a canvas app is a form..

I just want to make sure, that if a create another Canvas App that connects to the SharePoint list as a data source, that it will not affect the current SharePoint form.

    Gotcha!!

Okay, so in regard to the impact on the existing SharePoint Integration (Form) - No, it will not impact it in any way.

I say this all again with the skew toward "what does the app(s) do?" - If there is something significant in the integration that relies on some aspect of the data being in some format, calculation or other factor AND the other app in some way would alter that by writing data incorrectly to support the integration, then that would be the Impact.

I would tend to think (in your scenario or a data displaying dashboard) that it would have any inclination toward the above statement.

So again - summary - impact to SharePoint integrated app/form in general, NO.  Potential impact from a data standpoint, possible, but unlikely - and completely based on design, not tech.
