Single radio button not resetting on 'New Form'

Hi - have a quick question. In a questionnaire I've created, the scores appear on a second screen when submitted. A close button is on this page and when clicked, it should go back to the questionnaire and reset - this is in the 'On Select' - Navigate(Questionnaire);NewForm(SharePointForm1)

This was working fine but just recently one of the radio buttons in the questionnaire has defaulted to one of the options when opened. All the others are fine. Is there a reason this would be happening that I'm missing?

Thanks.

    Hi @Bonniedog2

Based on your case the radio button has a Default property that is set to one of the options, instead of blank or the value of the choice column. You can check this by selecting the radio button and looking at its Default property in the formula bar. It should be something like ThisItem.yourcolumnname.Value1 or blank.

Also compare with the others if something changed and why that radiobuttion behave like that.

If you have any questions or feedback, please let me know. Have a great day! 😊

    1. Default Property: Check the "Default" property of the problematic radio button control. It's possible that you have unintentionally set a default value for this radio button in the control's properties. Make sure the "Default" property is set to either Blank() or "" if you want it to start with no selected option.

    2. Default Values in SharePoint List: If your questionnaire is linked to a SharePoint list, ensure that the default value for the corresponding column in the SharePoint list is set to the desired value. If it's set to a specific value in the SharePoint list, this can override the default behavior in PowerApps.

    3. Variables or Form Initialization: If you have any variables or formulas that initialize the radio button's value when the form is opened, double-check those as well. Look for any code or formulas in the "OnStart" property of the app or "OnVisible" property of the screen that might be setting a default value for the radio button.

    4. Data Source Issues: If the radio button is bound to a data source (e.g., a SharePoint list or collection), ensure that there are no issues with the data source that could be causing the default value to be set.

    5. Updates or Changes: Sometimes, updates to the PowerApps platform or your app can lead to unexpected behavior. Make sure your app is up to date, and if the issue persists, try republishing the app to see if that resolves the problem.

    6. Cache and Browser Issues: Clear the cache and cookies of your web browser or restart the PowerApps mobile app. Sometimes, cached data can lead to unexpected behavior.

Mark as solution if this helps. Make sure to give this post a thumbs up. Feel free to ask further questions.

Was a combination of 3/4/5 - checked each, updated, and has removed the issues. Thanks for your help!!
