REFRESH and REVERT : what's the difference ?

Hello,

Can someone tell me what is the difference between the REFRESH function the REVERT function.

They do not do the same job for the same Data Soucre for example ?

Example : Revert(DataSource)  and  Refresh(DataSource)

In the documentation, there is no comparison between these functions.

    In my travels, seems Revert(dataSource) and Refresh(dataSource) do the same thing.

    HOWEVER, Revert can take a record also, not the entire data source. 

    So, if you have an error on a record, you can clear it with Revert and then resubmit your changes.

    Ex. You Refresh datasource and have a record.  Someone else does too.  They change a value and submit.  Then you change the same value and submit. No problem in this case - whoever writes the value last is the one that should be recorded.  But, you will get an error that it was modified.  So, Revert the record and submit again. Problem solved.
