Hi there,

I’m aware you can store the generative answers as a variable when using the generative answer node. However, is there a way while using orchestration to store Copilots answer as a variable?

Thank you

Orchestration - Store Bot Response As Variable
    Hi ,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community.

Yes, you can store Copilot's answer as a variable while using orchestration in Power Apps.

Here's how you can do it:

Create a Variable: In your Copilot Studio, create a variable to store the response. You can do this by adding a "Set Variable Value" node (See attached screenshots below).

Capture the Response: Use a "Question" node or any other node that captures user input. The response will be automatically stored in the variable you created.

Use the Variable: You can now use this variable in subsequent steps of your orchestration, such as passing it to a Power Automate flow or using it in other topics.

    Here's a simple example:
Add a "Set Variable Value" Node: Go to your bot's Topics page, add a new node, and select "Set Variable Value".

Configure the Node: Set the variable name and assign the value you want to store (e.g., Copilot's response).
Use the Variable: In other parts of your orchestration, you can reference this variable to use the stored value.
