Hi everybody,

I have a power apps portal.

I like the new licensing for power pages, it seems much more sensible. I would like you to change my licenses of type:

100 authenticated users PCM add-on capacity to the new power pages add-on capacity license that comes with the dataverse storage can anyone advise whether I should buy the new licenses and turn off the old ones?

Do I need to do more conversion? DO I need to somehow convert my portal to a pages site or anything first? I haven't received any advise yet.

Hi @matthu ,

Microsoft didn't complete the migration from Power Portal to Power Pages tables but they are the same from the technical speaking, but all licenses and features of the Power Pages are applied now to the existing Power Portal, no need to do extra effort from your side.

All what you need is to assign the needed licenses.

Thanks for your response. That’s great o will apply new pages licenses in place of my old portal licenses now.

Hope you are doing well. Just want to give you a clear picture. see the official snapshot below. Check the dates and review them carefully. License migration will not happen automatically unless you agree to the agreement.

The existing license will work as it is. I find the old model is useful for some scenarios like if your users are on a per-user plan (then don't change it).

That information is really helpful. Having read it through I think I can safely upgrade to power pages license. The added benefits of 100 users a month counted by monthly logins rather than a daily 24 hours count is excellent news and the 2Gb of dataverse storage packaged with the license makes a lot of sense.

The only frustrating thing I figured out is if you have a large user base then the pricing will be a big number.
