creating PFK upload for SSL Certificate on Power Pages

Hi Team

I have a Power Pages web app live in production mode.  I am trying to connect it to a custom domain, for which I am required to upload a password protected .pfk file as the SSL certificate.

I have got an SSL certificate from GoDaddy and have downloaded the contents, which come in .crt and .pem  form, and the private key comes as a .txt file.  I understand that i can combine these into a .pfk file using OpenSSL, but for the life of me can't figure out how to do it.  Does anyone has access to a 'how-to' guide on this.  I have done the 'google' thing, and tried all of the suggestions found, but can't get it to work.

Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

Cheers

    Ok... update to this.

I have managed to combine the private key and .pem file into a .pkf as required by PowerApps, however it looks like it is encrypting in SHA1, as PowerApps doesn't like the encryption applied.... "sigh!"

    Ok... final update

I managed to solve my own issue after 2 days of trial and error.   In the end, I managed to use Windows IIS to generate the pfx file, but unfortunately it wasn't as straightforward as some of the directions available out there.  The key issue is finding the .cer file in Microsoft Management Console when uploaded back into IIS.

The process is rather long and involved.  I won't put it here as there doesn't seem to be much interest in the thread.  Drop me a line if the solve interests you.

    Cheers

Hello there, i see this is a relatively new post.  Im also having issues with my certificate.  Can you provide the steps you used with IIS to get the correct certificate format?  I'm at my wits end.

    Hi JMAtoms

yea... it took me about 3 days to figure this out.... but I am not a tech person so maybe it would take others less.

I documented my process for repeatability.  I have attached my process here.  Let me know if you can't follow it due to my shorthand.

    Cheers
