Power Automate flow Run-only users

Hi all,

I have a button which triggers a PA flow to send an email with some details from the form in my PowerApp. Do I have to add users of the PowerApp as run-only users in order to send the email from my account?

Setting a flow as "run-only user" allows you to specify the connections used to execute each action in the flow, like SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, etc. This is particularly useful when you want all emails, for example, to be sent from a specific account (like your own) rather than the account of each individual user who triggers the flow.

Use "run-only user" mode if you want actions like email sending to consistently come from one designated account. However, you don’t need to set this mode just to share the flow with others—if the flow is connected to Power Apps, it’s automatically shared with users who have access to the app.

    Hi ccqn
You can set your connector as the Run-only user Outlook connector - it will then come from your account.

    Hi @WarrenBelz

Does this mean that there is no need to invite all the users in the tab below and simply set the connections used to "Use this connection"?

    Hi @ccqn,

Its not necessary to share it.
Setting "Use this connection" do all the job you want :)

    Have a nice day

Nice if I was given a chance to respond . . . I normally extend this courtesy to others.

Yes - it would look something like this (I also have a SharePoint connector as an example if you wanted that to run as the logged-in user)
