Powerapps - SendmailV2 - Text written in 1 line instead of multiple

Dear Powerapps community,

I'm building an app with the sendmail function.

I just started working with deeplinking so i changed from sendmail to sendmailv2.

This so my hyperlink is hidden in a word with html code "<A HREF='powerappslink&Screenname=Opvolg&ID="&DataCardValue137 &"'>KLIK HIER</A>"

But since i use this, the text in the send mail is in one line and not multiple.

Here a bit more info with pictures:

The powerapps page of the mail.

Behind the sendmail button top right corner i have the following code in OnSelect:

Set(_emailRecipientString; Concat(MyPeople; Mail & ";"));;
Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(_emailRecipientString; Onderwerp_tekst_10.Text; Inhoud_tekst_10.Text; {Importance:"Normal"});;
Reset(Onderwerp_tekst_10);;
Reset(Inhoud_tekst_10);;
Notify("Mail is correct verstuurd";NotificationType.Success);;

This is the mail how i receive him:

And how i would prefer it looks like, in multiple lines:

Can somebody help me how i can fix this?

Or are there alternatives?

Greetings,

Miguel De Neve

    Hi @MiguelDeNeve,

    The mail body expects HTML. One way of achieving this natively would be using the Rich Text editor - also allowing the user to further format their text.

    Alternatively, using the text input control (Multiline) we will have to subsitute all new lines with the HTML line break element '<br>':

    //instead of Inhoud_tekst_10.Text, use:
    Substitute(
     Inhoud_tekst_10.Text;
     Char(10);
     "<br>"
    )

    If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution.

    Thanks!

    The connector interprets HTML tags, so you can use tags such as <br> for a line break or <p> and </p> to start/close a new paragraph. Add those into the string for the email body to format it to your liking.

    Hope that helps,

    Bryan

    Thank you both for helping me so quick!

    I tried with the <br> and it works fine!
