Identifying the user who is the leader of a business Unit

I'm new to PowerApps and am trying to understand the relationship between Business Units and Users. Specifically I want to be able to relate a User, who is the "leader" of a Business Unit, to the Business Unit.

I have all of the users in my Office365 tenant in the users table (they were added when I created the Dataverse because I did not specify a security group). Presently, they're all assigned to the root Business Unit that was created when the PowerApps environment and Dataverse were created. I have made entries in the Business Unit table for all of the business units in my organization. Using the Parent Business column in the Business Unit table, I have defined the hierarchical relationship between business units.

  1. How do I define the leadership title/role of the users who are leaders of the various business units (e.g. the title of the leader of the hierarchically highest level business unit is CEO and the leader of the hierarchically lowest level business unit is Manager. We also have EVPs, VPs, and Directors)?

  2. How do I associate the user with the appropriate business unit such that they are designated as the "leader" of that business unit?

In the app I'm building, I need to be able to capture descriptive information about business processes that our organization has (I've created a custom table for this information) and their relationship to the business unit that is accountable for the business process. I need to be able to report the name of the Business Unit that is accountable for a business process (or all of the business processes a Business Unit is accountable for) and the name and title of the leader. I need to be able to understand these relationships from any point in the Business Unit hierarchy (e.g. If the Business Unit being reported is at the Director Level, the report should list the processes belonging to each subordinate Business Unit, along with the subordinate business unit leader's name, AND any processes associated with Director level business Unit.)

I hope this question is clearly stated and thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
