Exporting power apps data as a PDF.

Hello All,

I am trying to generate and download a power apps screen as a PDF. The main data is contained in a gallery that has on an average around 400 rows. When I tried generating a PDF using the expand containers parameter in the PDF function, it crashed the application for large datasets. Is there an alternative way to generate a PDF from power apps without any changes in the screen layout as shown below:

The gallery to be expanded is highlighted in red.

Have you tried doing PDF() and then sending the data from that function to a Power Automate flow to email the user that wanted to print it?

If i recall correctly that's what i did when i was in the same situation.

You cannot directly download the PDF from PowerApps, we can use PDF() function but it will download form the current page. Have a button at the top of the screen then on click of the button trigger a Instant Power Automate Flow and generate the Word Template and store the link and Pass the link to download from PowerApps.

Both of the below would work, the only thing I didn't see @Ram Prakash say is that you can grab the URL from the new word document and invoke download so that it will in fact download it when they click the download button without making them click 2 buttons just one.

Just pass the URL back from the Flow that generated the word document that you converted to a PDF with the convert action.

either way you have the ways to do it below I just wanted to add in that little bit.

Thank you for the suggestions. Is there a solution without using premium features?
