Issues with Rectangle Fill and Adding anything to Galleries in Power Apps

Hi everyone,

I'm facing two issues in Power Apps:

  1. Gallery Items Cut Off: Some items in my gallery aren't fully displayed. They seem to be cut off at the end, even though their size covers the full area.

  2. Can't Add Controls to Gallery: I'm unable to insert any controls (like containers) into my gallery. Dragging or adding them manually doesn't work.

Has anyone experienced this? Any solutions or workarounds?

Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't have a solution but just wanted to add that I've also started having this issue recently.

I use a gallery to display some info from a collection and use a thin, stretched-out rectangle to act as a row separator. It's been working totally fine this whole time but suddenly in the past month or so, that line cuts off at about 75% of the full width of the screen. I also can't re-add a shape to the gallery.

Hopefully it's a bug/change from Microsoft that they can fix.

The rectangle fill issue is going with every app in my environment.. As a workaround use 'Containers' (flexible ones) with Border Radius =0 and Width 1 or 2, select border color accordingly. Thanks :)

Can you provide a sample showing the problem that you are having?

For problem 1, in the gallery you need to look at the template size property and also the width and height of each control in the first item in the gallery.
