Unable to connect to Azure SQL ( within VNET )

Hi , I need to connect Power App to Azure SQL Server where the public endpoint access is now disabled ( for security reasons ) . Suddenly after this change the PowerApp stopped working and its not able to establish connection with database. wanted to check if there is a need to use any powerapp gateway to get connected with the Azure SQL Private endpoints .. Is there is a need to create the VNET gateway to get Power App connected to Azure SQL database behind the VNET .

 

Does PowerApp support VNET gateway for Azure SQL ? 

 

Any pointers will much appreciated

    Hi @nikhilver,

     

    Currently Power Apps is not supported for use with the VNET, only Power BI and Power Platform data flows as per limitations stated in docs.

     

    You would need to install an on-prem data gateway  in the VNET where your Azure SQL database resides and connect that way.
