Add custom value to dropdown connected to SharePoint list column

Hi all,

I'm and building an app that uses various dropdown boxes connected to corresponding choice columns in a SharePoint list.
I am wanting to know if it's possible to also enter a custom value in these dropdown boxes that will then be added into the SharePoint list column as a choice as well.

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

The best way is to copy your choices from the SP list into a dropdown box,
Then add the choices you want.

FE: the original list:
["Hello"; "Yes"; "No"; "Maybe"; "Goodbye"]

New one:
["Hello"; "Yes"; "No"; "Maybe"; "Goodbye"; "NEWHHELLO"; "NEWYESS"]

Hi @Hannah123,

Actually, Choice column supports to add values manually to Choice column by ticking as below.

However, this added value could only be added to your Choice column, not a choice for selecting.
