Creating a Form using Sharepoint List

Hi there,

I am creating an app that allows my organisation to record conflicts of interest.

I have set up a list in Sharepoint, and used some custom fields like 'date', 'Person or Group' etc in the columns. In my App I have created a Form and am trying to have the information in my form create new information in my Sharepoint list. The problem is when I have used the collect function the fields going into the list are returning errors. Below is an example of the code I have written:

Collect(InterestRegister, {'Type of Interest':TypeOfEntry.text)

With type of interest being a 'choic' column in my list.

It returns an error below:

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    How is your form structured?
Are you collecting the information in a collection?
If so, why are you using choice columns in your data source and text columns in your collection? Choice indicates that you choosing a value from a dropdown. Does the form have a dropdown containing a collection which you are choosing from?
Why not use the SharePoint list as your data source?
