Round() function not rounding on specific region settings

Hi all,

I have a Round() function that should round a number it recieves from a calculated currency or number column (tried both) of a SharePoint list.

The value it gets is in the american format (1.0000000) and should be rounded to 2 decimals (1.00).

When my Browser is set to English - US everything works fine and gets displayed correctly.

However when I set the Langauge to German (Format: 1,000000), the Round() function just skips its work and does nothing ending in displaying an unwanted result.

Does anyone has an idea on how I could fix it?

I ran out of ideas...

Round(Value([YourColumn]), 2)

Weird, this should work then:

Round(Value(Substitute(YourNumber, ",", ".")), 2)

Just figured it out.

Obviously you can force it to use a specific region format, I don't know why that worked since it already had the same format but it worked.

My solution was Round(Value(Number; "en-US");2)
