Filter O365 Users Combobox New Form

Hi,

I would like to have staff members in my school be able to submit leave requests to their managers. I am using a SharePoint list and canvas app for this with a people/group column for the manager. How can I prevent staff from submitting requests to students? I would like to filter the people card in my app to only show users as part of two specific departments or users which dont have a ) on the end of their display name. Can I do this with the O365 users connector and if so how?

Thanks

    Hi @Anonymous

    1. you can create sharepoint site group

    2. create people picker column and under column settings choose the site group that you've created

    3. add all the respective people to the group

We can use the filter if AD has information about the role either Student or Teacher in Department or job title like below

    Filter(Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm:""}), Department = "Teacher")

    or

    Filter(Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm:""}), JobTitle = "Teacher")

Hello I have tried to do this but I dont think it works. I think filter only returns tables not records so I need lookup? Also when I have used a filter and used the o365 users connection the entered user doesnt then save to the people column in sharepoint.
