Modern Table - lookup column not able to sort

Hi All,

I've been playing around with the modern table control and trying to sort a column that is a lookup type. I'm getting a 400 error: "When trying to retrieve data from the network: The $orderby expression must be evaluate to a single value of primitive type. Any way to correct this? I'm using dataverse tables with canvas app.

hey

i (and many others) wont suggest using modern controls as of now in productive apps. many of them still buggy and not ready to be used.

there is no solution to buggy modern controls

stick to classic ones and reduce headaches ;)

Thanks for the feedback. I'll work on rebuilding the table instead of using the modern table.

To be honest, I've spent a great deal scratching my head why things aren't working with some of the modern controls. I'll try to avoid them as much as possible. It's a shame because I do like the Fluent 2 designs over the classic controls.

hey again

yeah sure no question, the modern controls look way better than the classic ones. but in my opinion the look is the only advantage of them right now,

i hope they will be ready to use (and work as they should) anytime soon ;)
