We build enterprise apps for a company with over 10k employees and started using components about 10 months ago. As you can imagine Components are a huge time saver, but recently a coworker found an article for Power Platform that stated that Preview Features are not meant to be used for production use and would not be supported (article link below). I did my own research and found a contradicting article on a Power Apps website that said Preview features that are on by default would soon be a permanent part of the application (article link below).
We create a large number of apps and for stainability purposes, we do not want to use a feature that will not be part of the long-term architecture or supported by Microsoft. Can someone from Microsoft or a similar authority please clarify if Component will be an ongoing item used in Power Apps?

Canvas components are officially released to GA now. So you can use them in production apps.
