Hey ladies and gents, could really use your help.

So I basically created a Powerapp for collecting retail data that worked FLAWLESSLY before hand. Now I'm trying to recreate the app for another version (we originally used the app in January) and it seems Barcode Scanner has now changed to reader and my previous formulas ARENT working.

I had a data card with a field from Sharepoint for the barcode, labeled 'UPC' and a Barcode runner in the same data card. The reader would scan and then verify whether the current barcode was already existing in the current sharepoint list or not.

In the UPC box, I had the formula:

If(varScan1 = LookUp('List name',UPC = varScan1,UPC),"ALR Exists",varScan1)

and Barcode formula/OnScan was set to: 'Set(varScan1,Self.Value)'

However, I'm now getting an error message that is saying for the scanner box, "Name isnt valid. '(set, etc)' isnt recognized."

For the UPC box, I'm getting "Incompatible types of comparison."

Can anyone tell me what the heck is going on? This is insanely urgent and stressful and the LAST thing I need to having break on me right now. Can anyone PLEASE help? This LITERALLY worked months ago.

Photos of errors are uploaded.

    Hi @MrGeekyBro ,

    The barcode reader output a table called Barcodes of all scanned codes (it can scan multiple on one label at once) with two fields - Value and Type, so if you only have one barcode, you can do this

    Set(
     varScan,
     First(Self.Barcodes).Value
    )
