Reload value from DataVerse in Canvas App

Hi - 

I have a canvas app that displays the sum of all Tasks that have been submitted to a DataVerse table. How do I refresh that field automatically or with a button when it has been updated?

    You have provided extremely little context or detail in your post. 

     

    1. Are you referring to the CDM Tasks table in Dataverse?
    2. Where are you displaying the "sum of all Tasks"? On a Label control? If yes, what formula are you using?
    3. There is no need to "refresh" a field. You have not explained what this statement means.
