good afternoon, a few days ago I could move the fields in the form developed with powerapps, currently it is not possible. to. form of 2 columns. b. I tried disabling the automatic adjustment and did not solve the problem. Confirm if you have removed the functionality of freely moving through the fields form?

we have removed the ability to order cards from the canvas recently, currently you can order cards using the right side pane (by dragging the fields) or by using the formula bar (by changing X and Y property for cards to 0, 1, 2. ..etc)

the ability to drag cards in the canvas might be added again in the future

Stupid!  Very stupid.  How can anyone in their right mind think taking away the ability for an app maker to fully customize an app is a step forward?  You make editing in PowerApps so stupid difficult in many ways.  This being the latest!

    1. Go to file and go to app settings
    2. Click on Advance setting
    3. Under preview feature turn off the option called “ Improved app rendering (final validation)
    4. Save and close the app
    5. Again reopen the app

After this you will be able to move the data cards.

I can't move the Datacard even after doing this workaround. What happend Microsoft? I remembered doing this task in VB 6.0 and it was more user friendly. 😞

This is very bad to see, that this feature has been removed. Can't understand what issue it was causing to the developers? Atleast now give some workaround. Whatever you mentioned below, is not working for me.

Are there any updates on this issue? it stuffed up my project, can't move anything at all. I am not sure why it was removed. Where there any comments from Microsoft on why this feature was removed?

The steps I post up above, actually worked perfect for me.  Be sure to save after those steps, and completely close down and open back up. Make sure you have the "Snap to columns" unchecked also.

The ability to drag cards should be available now without the need to disable Improved app rendering.

I am still need to disable 'improved app rendering' to drag and drop cards.  Its unclear if this is still intended to be disabled for the new process or was added back in - if so it does not work properly.  The ability to freely move columns is a massive time-saver and a big step back taking it out of the new rendering.  Please get this functioning before forcing everyone onto a new process.
