Hi,

I am trying to create a RSVP for a potluck event. I want to have following questions:

1. Do you want to participate in fun activity x?

2. What are you Bringing?

     a) Chicken

     b) Turkey

     c) Potato

Question 1 is straight forward. But for question 2 I want to set limit of people signing up for Chicken to say 3, Turkey to say 2 and potato to 2. If 3 people have already selected chicken, I want that option to be disabled.

Is there a way to do something like this? Your help is much appreciated.

    Hi @lex3 ,

There's a alternative path here and will describe it. I'm flying right now so can't build on my phone but here's the process:

You can do this with power automate desktop. Essentially, you can write the form results to an Excel table and have a formula at the top of the column to sum a particular food item. Then you read this value and if over a certain number, call a desktop for to edit the form and remove item from choice list.

That's a big lift for a small task though, doable but advanced effort.

An easy workaround however is of the sum of a food item exceeds your limit, you could auto reply and ask them if they can bring something else, then manually update their row.
