    Hi @pityman ,

The syntax is correct (and would work perfectly in SharePoint), have to tried a single field search to confirm it is the second field causing the issue.

    Thank you for your reply.
(and would work perfectly in SharePoint) << do you mean it will work perfectly if its from sharepoint list?
Currently my excel file is reside on sharepoint.
Do you recommend to chnage to sharepoint list instead?

Why don't you use Filter instead? Filter(DataSource, Column1 = "someting" Or Column2 = "something"), etc..

    Hi @pityman ,

If you have access to SharePoint, please forget Excel as a data source and use a SharePoint List instead.

    Hi @pityman ,

The error message indicates that using Search function to search in multiple columns is not supported if using an Excel table as the data source. Like @WarrenBelz said, it is more recommended to use SharePoint as the data source rather than Excel tables, because there are quite a few limitations to use Excel tables:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/excelonlinebusiness/#known-issues-and-limitations

So if possible, please consider import the data into SharePoint lists and use the lists as the data source of your App.

    Hope this helps.
