How can we manage data verse permission like, current user can add/update record while other user within team can view only?

Thanks in advance!

    Hello @__Bansari,

    Navigate to https://make.powerapps.com

Click on Gear icon at the top

Then Click Advance Settings --> Click Security --> Click User--> Open User --> Click Manage Roles --> Note the Roles.

Again Click Security --> Security Roles --> Open the Noted Roles and check the Entities which you are trying and Check what is the Level (Permissions) available for the user.

But in this case how you can identify this is user1 who create record - and permission to add more line items, while user2 can only view the record.

Note: Both have same role like, support engineer.

    Thanks!

    Hello @__Bansari,

You can identity the OWNER field to verify who created the Record.

If Both Security Role and Both of them are from same Business Unit, then Try create another Role and Assign it to a different Person.

if you dont want to create a secuirty Role then use the JS to make all the field Read Only

    HI @__Bansari,

Before making any changes to privileges and roles, I suggest to get familiar with the way security model works in Dataverse. Here's a good video summaring it: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Webinars-and-Video-Gallery/Security-in-Common-Data-Service-CDS/td-p/615512

    Also some helpful pages:  https://docs.microsoft.com/power-platform/admin/wp-security-cds
    Hope this helps!
