How many gallery controls is possible to add to a form?

Hi, I'm building an application with 6 or 7 forms but my plan is to add 10 gallery controls in one of those forms, each gallery linked to its own list.

Do you think is there a problem doing that?

Is that going to affect the performance of my application?

Is there a better way to do that?

Each gallery is not showing more than 50 rows.

The more data you need to load from external sources, the slower your app will perform. But, try it and see. If the performance is unacceptable to you, then consider:

    • Do you need to use a gallery, when your user only needs to see one or two pieces of data?
    • Do you need all the data on startup, or can some loading be deferred to a particular screen?
    • Is your data source up to the task of the amount of data you want to load? Excel tables, in particular, are quite slow.
    • With 50 or fewer rows, you won't need to worry about delegation warnings, but an operation on an internal collection may run more quickly than waiting for a response from the server

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for your quick reply, the app will help our users to track their progress in some training, the complete list of training is 200 different options, so I have to show them the 200 options in a gallery, using checkboxes and, the user can select one or all, click save, then  I will update the status to completed and the end date in the list.

In the beginning, I was using one single gallery linked to one list but it was taking a lot of time to create the 200 rows in a List for every user (more than 90 seconds) so I decided to split the 200 rows into 10 different Lists because they are grouped by module (I have 10 modules) but now I'm thinking that may be that is going to affect the performance of my app.

I have to create the 200 options on the run because it depends on previous steps on previous screens.

I think that the logic and process is good. It will be faster... But it will still need to "think" in 10 gallerys

But i am not seeing any other way around
