Is it possible to use CDM to build ISV Application in a linux server

Hi,

We like the concept of CDM, so far we see that the CDM Manifest Folder is uploaded into Azure Data Lake, but we want to create an application in our on premise servers (linux).

 

Is it possible to do so?

1. Create a Custom Entities (JSON FIles)

2. Create a Custom Application and connect it to D365 using ISV Solution.

    1. Does CDM locks us in Azure Echo System or

    2. we can build a solution independently on top of CDM
