Add new row to a tabel gives error "1 row is not saved"

I have a created a table and I want to add data into it. In the past you had the tab Data with a button Add Record.

Now this is changed and you have an Edit button. When you click it it opens a page where you can add your records.

But..... I keep getting te error "1 row is not saved". It doesn't say why. When I scroll through the fields, no warning sign is visible marking the field that is causing the problem.

I've created a table with only the primary column, and that already gives the problem.

What needs to be done so that I can use this page to enter data? Without going into detail, it's in my case an option I need.

@EllenHeijmans , What is the datatype of the Name field?

@EllenHeijmans , just created a new table and it is working. I see that you don't have the created-by and created on generated. Try to type in another value to the name field and click on another field on the row.

@AhmedSalih The name field is Single line of text.

For a test I did nothing more than creating a table and giving it a name. So the column Name is the Primary Name Column.

Than I go to Edit, I type something in de Name field and press Enter and the error appears. It's the only required field that I can set, so I don't know what else I can do.

@EllenHeijmans1 , make sure you have create permission on your environment. That might cause an error if you don't have create permission. Note, create permission is included in the Service Writer security role.

@AhmedSalih I am member of System Administrator and Basic User and on tenant level Global Administrator, so I should have access to tables.

If I create an app, I have no trouble of adding records.

@EllenHeijmans , I was able to generate the same error you are getting. I was able then to get to work by only showing my custom columns, so I hid all system columns. (Note: Make sure you fill all the required custom columns)

I hope this would work for you!

    Hi @EllenHeijmans1

There are multiple ways available, check the items below

    1. Make sure you filled all the REQUIRED fields., If the field is not added in the view, add it and try to save it

    2. Make sure there is any plugin or workflow available or not, if available try deactivating and try

    Hi @EllenHeijmans,

As @rampprakash mentioned, there could be several reasons why this fails and unfortunately the error messages in the Maker portal are not very clear. To get a better idea of what's going on, in the Maker portal (https://make.powerapps.com) go to --> click on gear icon on the top right --> Advanced Settings --> Advanced Find (the little funnel on the top right) --> select your table in the "Look For" --> click the "Results" button in the ribbon and then New button in the ribbon. A blank new form of the table will popup, enter the values and save. Any errors would popup with a more detailed message.
    Hope this helps!

    Dear,

I also faced the same problem. Just opening in incognito window or clearing the browser cache solved my problem ( Make sure all other settings are properly configured).

I am able to add new rows using the "Advanced Find", but not normally. It seems to not automatically fill out "created on" field when simply pressing "New row", i do not know if this is the cause, since "created on" is set a optional, but that is the only visible difference. So right now i am only able to add rows via advanced settings, which is quite the hassle. In the attached image, the first row was made before this error occured, the next 4 is through advanced, and the last that gets an error is when trying to add normally. (excuse the harsh language in the row name).

The problem has now resolved itself somehow. No clue what happened
